Greenhouses provide a physical barrier against pests and diseases that can harm crops. By limiting the entry of insects, birds, and other pests, greenhouse growers can minimize the need for chemical pesticides and rely on more sustainable pest control methods. Additionally, the controlled environment of a greenhouse helps reduce the spread of diseases, as it limits the exposure of plants to external pathogens.
