Our Chief Operating Officer Nadine El khoury Kadi proudly represented the company in a high-level panel discussion on “Green Economy Clusters in the MENA Region: Unlocking Opportunities & Overcoming Challenges,” where she shared valuable insights on the role of collaboration, clustering, and innovation in building a more sustainable future for the agri-food sector.
In parallel, she also joined a powerful discussion hosted by PepsiCo under the MENA Innovates program, a vibrant gathering of Youth Impact Studio participants, Mega Green Accelerator graduates, and ecosystem leaders, all working together to foster youth-led solutions for Lebanon.

Last month, Mr. Nicola Santini, Co-owner & Managing Director of SAIS Sementi SpA https://saissementi.it/en/, and Bashar Al Talli, area manager, visited Quinta Group’s premises in Lebanon. This event marked a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties with our new Italian seeds partner, driven by a shared commitment to introducing innovative vegetable varieties and fostering sustainable growth in agriculture.
The day began at our nursery in Koubba-Batroun, where the SAIS team explored advanced grafting techniques and reviewed our pioneering automated hydroponic systems for NFT Lettuce and Soilless Tomato. Later, the visit continued to our trial station in Akkar to assess the promising results of SAIS's vegetable varieties, particularly the exceptional performance of the new eggplant variety GIOIA.
Beyond technical insights, the SAIS team engaged with prominent eggplant growers in Akkar, addressing challenges and celebrating how GIOIA exceeded expectations. Their visit solidified a partnership poised to introduce high-performing vegetable varieties tailored to local conditions, ensuring profitability and value for our farmers.
